Some trips begin with a long list of places to see. This one did not. I only wanted somewhere by the sea, close enough for a weekend and slow enough that I would not need an alarm.

Before leaving, prepare just enough

I booked a place in a walkable neighbourhood, saved three cafés, and marked one beach. The rest could wait until I arrived.

Going slowly does not mean seeing less. Sometimes it simply gives a place enough time to reveal itself.

The first day, let the town lead

After leaving my bag, I walked towards the water and let the small streets decide the route.

What did I bring home?

Not many photos and not a packed itinerary. Just a clearer head and a reminder that a weekend does not need to be optimized down to every minute.
